A crime story with Batman, but he is not the main protagonist IMHO. Read my personal review below.

Story

This is a mafia crime story. A story about a mafia family (of course), the police, the detective and the district attorney. Batman (the detective), Commissioner Gordon (the Police) and Harvey Dent (the district attorney) combine their forces to catch the leading mafia family in gotham. And then the killing of good fellas starts…and repeats on every holiday.

Drawings and colors

I do not like every page, some of them are great, some not. But I am not an artist. In my personal opinion, the drawings are too simple and generic.

Review

This is a fantastic but rather long story. As said, it is not a story about superheroes or supervillains. It’s a classic crime story. There are some “strange” twists (nails with serial numbers?!), like in a crime movie from the 1970’s.

And it is the origin story of a supervillain.

Overall I liked the reading.
